Default up comming woc chapter

yes another thread created out of boredom

As the end of the current WoC chapter i.e. quest chain...I started thinking about where it could go. Since the end of the recent one has lead us to believe that the Ministry of Purity are quazi-nazis...I started thinking about them becomming the next subject of a quest chain. So here goes with my idea.....

Quest chain beginning with us cleansing Kanening of the two gang factions. While doing these the ministry gains popular support b/c of the cleasnings and the empires ongoing preoccupation with the Shiroken. Then we learn more-so of the ministry of purity's true intentions and learn that they are planning to overthrow the emperor and take control of the empire. The tide changes and now we begin quests to combat the hostile ministry of purity's take-over.

Utilizing the Divine path...as a new shiroken afflicted area and using the tunnels under Kanening (the ones used to get to eotn) as the ministry's stronghold/source of the shiroken, we aid the imperial forces defeat the ministerial threat. Here we would be facing both Shiroken bosses as well and ministry bosses.

With the final defeat of the Shiroken...the effects of the Jade wind subside enough for the harvest temple to arise. Here we find a muti-tier area where we cross paths again with Miku (new hero) and the last Ministry threat her brother Ashu. This would be a dungeon like area culminating in boss fight with Ashu who has become Kefa-like.

So tl;dr.....gang quests...divine path level....depths beneath Cantha level...quest chain to harvest temple.....havest temple level(s)....Ashu main boss fight.

I know it won't happen but oh well....flame away

Although I think it more or less pointless to suggest something story and content wise since A-net most likely already have it planned. Your idea is not all bad, it is not unlikely at all that Miku will reappear and perhaps become a hero. Fighting the gangs is also likely imo I mean we already fought both am fah and jade brotherhood, so could easily be more of that.
If the ministry will become our enemy... I don't know about that...
Harvest temple would be cool however we would get there.

But again, pretty sure A-net already have act2 and act3 planned.

The Ashu idea is pretty awesome but still you haven't mentioned anything about the Dragon Guard : http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Dragonguard which imo will play a role, too

I think Ministry of Purity will try to clear the Tengus and they will fight back and win... I know there will be Tengu's involved.

Why would the temple need to "arise"?
When it began to sink under the water after Shiro's defeat 200 years ago, it created a whirlpool which then turned to jade before the Temple could be engulfed by the sea. The temple is not under the jade.

And even if it was, we have access to it's roof already, which should in theory have a way to get into the temple because back in the day people needed to be able to get up there to ring the giant bells.

There are also two shadowy females on the WoC page that we could speculate on. One could be Miku, but they seem to be striking a seductive/playful pose that suggests a sinister intention.

How they will fit into the story? Who knows. They might just be a newly-styled Duo Boss.

It's definitely Miku, do a side by side comparison of the armor. The other silhouette is probably Minister Reiko (headgear prongs look like ministry issue).

The Shiro'ken are alluded to in part of an encounter dialogue so that may not be far off. I'd enthusiastically sign for a Canthan dungeon of some type.

Remember the Duncan glitch and the enormous area that one could explore? Maybe utilizing some of the unused portions of that...or the tunnels below cantha. Heck take one with lava...re-color it blue-green and add corrupt saltspray dragons in it as the dungon under the Harvest temple.

I really don't think the MoP is sinister, at least I hope not... For crying out loud, we've already been through the whole "They seemed like good guys until SECRET EVIL REVEALED." That was the point of the LAST CHAPTER. For six years we've been killing White Mantle, I really don't want to sit through another Neo Mantle plot-line.

I think they honestly have good intentions, but our player-character is such a moral-RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO that we're going to have a clashing of ideals, and perhaps it will all culminate with the MoP waging an operation against Tengu who they deem to be a threat. Maybe there should be an actual tengu uprising that leads the MoP to make this decision once the gangs are taken care of.

In Part 2, the player character will get all "bad vibe" mode after going to meet Reiku and Ashu, and will leave the Ministry on their own. Enter Miku, we spend another 5 hours doing shit for her and learning what her purpose is in this chapter and how she ties into everything.

Then maybe Part 3 will deal with the tengu, and somewhere in between there can be internal conflicts between the Imperial forces and the new Ministry. I just want to see ambiguous conflicts without one true "right answer". They spent all this time building up the MoP as the heroes of the people, I really don't want to see Anet pull another White Mantle with this!

I see a future GW2 dungeon in Cantha

Emperor Usoku was the successor of Emperor Kisu to the Canthan throne. During his reign, he spent millions in gold to arm his troops and defeat the warring Luxon and Kurzick factions. Usoku also unified the Canthan nation behind a strong national identity and began to remove all non-humans from Cantha. Canthans who disagreed with Usoku's views were forced to leave their homeland for either Tyria or Elona

So by my guessing, Winds Of Change is a Pre - Nazi Totalitarian Cantha.
So the nazi-like portraits represented in GW1 right now, must be the
pre - Nazis o:!

I think it has a good chance of being similar to how Essence was describing it. I really wish they would have just told us that the Afflicted were wiped out though so we could have started by fighting new enemies instead of fighting the Afflicted all over again. Hopefully the story line in this ends up being better than WiK. *Fingers crssoed*

Didn't meant 2.
But as I said before, The Nazi Totalitarian regime could be the ''Factions'' campaign of GW2.
